My approach is completely trauma-focused. In addition to complex trauma, I also specialize in perinatal, postpartum and pro-choice mental health. The perinatal period is a profoundly challenging transition. It does not just refer to the emotional needs of the mother or gestational parent but rather all individuals involved in caring for a new human.

When engaging in therapy with me we explore what it is getting in the way of the life you want most for yourself. We work to increase social support, improve communication and process grief. We understand the emotional strategies that helped you adapt to the world throughout your life that are now getting in your way. This fosters a greater awareness of agency and connection to self.

I am no stranger to the process of suffering or to that of healing. I approach my clients with an approachable, down-to-earth, and gentle demeanor. I view myself as a fellow traveler, honored to walk alongside my clients on their journey. I value my clients’ authenticity and emotional vulnerability, and I, in turn, do my best to embody and model these values myself.

12 years in the field of mental health, eight years as a therapist and five years in solo private practice. Certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). Additional training in Perinatal Interpersonal Therapy, EMDR, Master Level NARM and FL Qualified Supervisor.
