Emily Allaire

I’m Emily Allaire (she/her) and I’m a trauma-focus-trained, licensed clinical social worker in Waterloo, Iowa. I specialize in perinatal mental and emotional health issues: perinatal loss and newborn death, birth trauma, NICU families, and women’s issues.

I utilize psychotherapy, EMDR, Ego State and Parts Work, Polyvagal Theory while working with our nervous system, and cognitive behavioral therapies. I am dedicated to helping my clients shift how they perceive themselves, their relationships, and their responsibilities and redefine the world around them. Through exploration, discussion, and self-forgiveness, we work together to shift from negative self-talk to healthy coping and self-love.
