Lillian Rishty

While integrating psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapeutic methods, Lillian’s approach is interactive, supportive, and individually designed. Lillian enjoys working together to better understand how past experiences influence present-day behaviors, combined with a practical, strengths-based, problem-solving approach. She strives to provide a safe space where your experiences and relationships can be explored, emphasizing trust, comfort, and a judgment-free environment.

Lillian received her Master’s at Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work. Lillian has experience working collaboratively in a pediatric neurology office, high school and college settings, facilitating art therapy groups in an outpatient rehab facility, in a mental health clinic, and in private practice.

Lillian is an LCSW in both New York and New Jersey. She is a Certified Anxiety Specialist by the National Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists. She is also certified in Eating Disorder Intuitive Therapy (EDIT)™.

Lillian has completed a one-year training at the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis and Psychology in eating disorders, addictions, and compulsions. She is also a certified complex trauma professional (CCTP). Lillian is in the process of becoming certified in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) and is passionate about working with new moms.
